McThreads: Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States; Started In March 3, 2012 , McThreads was supposed to be a one time thing. I soon found my self enjoying the work of putting together prints and sewing them in to aprons. Apron's became clutches . Clutches became cell phone holders . Cell phone holder turned into children's aprons. I decided," Why not sell them" . That's how McThreads began. I have been sewing for over 52 years and started at age 3. My mother bought me a working child's sewing machine, and with it I made doll clothes. Later, I started sewing clothes for people and not long after that I started sewing draperies at a mom-pop shop in my local town , Columbia City . In 1980 I started my first business, "TLT crafts." After 19 years I closed the business. Once more I've started this small home business with home made goodness.
